Course Overview
Each semiconductor fabrication factory area has unique hazards and controls. Take this course to learn about what to expect so that you can anticipate hazards and make sure controls are in place to maintain safety during each step of the semiconductor manufacturing process. Each step of the semiconductor manufacturing process has its own hazards. It is important that you understand the hazards and the controls in place to protect you. Take this course to find out about some of the specific steps, their hazards and safety measures. Ideal learners are semiconductor fabrication workers.

- Know four basic areas that are common to all semiconductor fabrication factories (fabs)
- Identify hazards and controls in fab areas
- Recall initial actions to take during an emergency event in a clean room
- Identify the basic steps in the semiconductor manufacturing process
- Recognize the hazards and controls associated with the semiconductor manufacturing processes
This course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete
A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
