Course Overview
Part 6 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations identifies training standards for the movement of dangerous goods within Canada. It is mandatory for anyone involved with dangerous goods to be trained in the products they are handling.
This online Transportation of Dangerous Goods Class 2, 3, and 4 - (TDG) course covers the required information pertaining to the transportation of dangerous goods in Canada for classes 2, 3, and 4 in a large means of containment Only. This course is specifically designed for handlers of dangerous goods in these three class applications only so individuals are trained strictly in the products they move. This helps to shorten the course for a better user experience while maintaining compliance to part 6 of the TDG Regulations.
After completing this course, participants should know the regulations governing the transportation of dangerous goods in Canada for classes 2, 3, and 4; the placards for these products; TDG symbols required for these classes on vehicles and large means of containment; requirements with emergency response in the event of an accidental product release or spill; and the documentation requirements when transporting these specific dangerous goods.
