Course Overview
This online course is designed to give Health and Safety Committee (HSC) co-chairs and Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) an understanding of their legislated duties and responsibilities under Alberta's OHS legislation.
The course builds upon the concepts introduced in HSC/HSR Training Part 1 and introduces concepts related to hazard assessment and control, inspections, and incident investigations.
This course is approved by the Government of Alberta for the training of HSCs/HSRs.
The online course content mirrors the one-day classroom version. It may be completed at the learner's own pace.
