Course Overview
This online Dealing with the Media in Emergency Situationsis course designed to help facilities comply with OSHA's HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120). As part of these regulations, there are varying requirements for employee training, depending on an employee's specific level of involvement with hazardous materials. The course provides employees with the information they need to understand the major areas covered by the regulation and instructs employees on the proper ways of interacting with the media during an emergency situation.
