Corrective Action Training: HOS Documentation
Course Overview
This Corrective Action Training module provides drivers with remedial training related to Hours of Service (HOS) documentation. Specifically, this course is designed to remind drivers of log requirements, exemptions, and ELD compliance.
After completing this course, drivers will be able to:
- Identify what you need to have completed for an hours-of-service inspection.
- Explain what you need to know if you qualify for a logging exception.
- Recognize when an ELD is required.

- Introduction
- Use your log every day.
- Upload your records from your ELD.
- Some drivers are exempt from using logs.
- Know the terms of any exceptions.
- Know why and when you need an ELD.
- Switch to an ELD if logging frequently
This course takes approximately 5 minutes to complete
A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
A certificate will be provided upon the successful completion of this course
