Course Overview
Many of us know that wood ticks feed on blood, but did you know they also carry diseases? These diseases, if untreated, can be fatal. That, why, whether you spend time outdoors for work or recreation, you need to be aware of the health risks of wood ticks.
This online Wood Tick Safety course is designed to increase the awareness of wood ticks and the health risks they pose. Throughout the course, you will learn where ticks can be found and how to prevent tick bites when you’ll be in those areas. You’ll also learn the signs and symptoms of the diseases they carry, such as Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Lyme disease.

This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
