Course Overview
Do you use hazardous materials in your workplace? Then you need WHMIS training. This WHMIS/GHS 2015 course will teach you what you need to know about WHMIS and the Globally Harmonized System.
As of 2015, Canada is a partial signatory to the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (GHS), which introduces new regulations and practices surrounding the labelling and information requirements for hazardous materials. With GHS, the prior Canadian WHMIS standards, such as Material Safety Data Sheets, have been phased out and replaced with the new, international standards, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Our training program will teach you what you need to know about the WHMIS system, how it is changing, and how the Globally Harmonized System affects Canadian industry and regulation.
