This online Vehicle & Roadside Inspections course is designed to educate commercial vehicle drivers about the importance of vehicle & roadside inspections, and about the items drivers or enforcement officers will check during inspections.
Course Overview
There are more than 8 million registered commercial vehicles on the roads today. Law enforcement officers conduct over 2 million inspections each year to help ensure drivers and their vehicles are safe.
However, crashes still occur. When large trucks are involved, the consequences are often tragic. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has instituted programs such as CSA 2010 to place more accountability on drivers and trucking companies for the operation of a safe fleet.
This online Vehicle & Roadside Inspections course is designed to educate commercial vehicle drivers about the importance of vehicle & roadside inspections, and about the items drivers or enforcement officers will check during inspections.
