Course Overview
The purpose of this lesson is to make you aware of the potential hazards of indoor air contamination in the workplace. This lesson also describes the causes, sources, and health effects of indoor air contamination; how to recognize indoor air quality problems; and your responsibilities in preventing these problems.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should have a better understanding of:
- Defining the term "indoor air quality" and recognize the consequences of indoor air contamination.
- The causes and sources of the major indoor air contaminants.
- The health effects and major risks of indoor air contamination.
- Controls to help maintain good indoor air quality.
