ICS 402 Awareness
This course is for executives and managers, the policy implementing personnel who are not normally a part of the on-scene incident command sustem (or ICS) organization.
Course Overview
The online ICS 402 is intended to provide an orientation to the Incident Command System (ICS) for company Executives and Senior Officials (including elected officials, city/county managers, agency administrators, etc.). This module reviews the 14 principles and features including the ICS organization, basic terminology, and common responsibilities. It will provide enough information about the Incident Command System to enable students to gain an increased level of understanding of the Incident Command System, and how it can be applied during an emergency or non-emergency event.
