The Fit For Duty , The Basics Course is designed to give Employers, Managers, Supervisors, Employees, Contractors, and anyone else working in the field of safety an overview of the Fit For Duty work model and an understanding of why being Fit For Duty is essential while at work.
Topics Covered
- Be introduced to the concept of Fit For Duty and all associated terms
- View and interact with scenarios outlining a variety of situations where fitness for duty is relevant
- Be explained the basic rights and responsibilities of individuals as they relate to fitness for duty
- Be shown various ways an individual can be impaired and not Fit For Duty
- Be given detail on the importance of Fitness For Duty when driving or operating equipment, including steps to take to respond
- Be asked to commit to follow Fit For Duty principles in their everyday work
