Course Overview
This lesson will teach you the criticality concepts and terms necessary to be able to properly respond to a criticality alarm, as well how to identify the handling restrictions and labels associated with fissionable material.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should have a better understanding of:
- Fissionable material labels and the hazards associated with improper handling of those containers holding fissionable material.
- The correct actions to take in order to prevent an accidental criticality.
- The correct actions that can minimize radiation exposure in the event of an accidental criticality
