Course details
PHA/HAZOP Process Hazards Analysis Academy
Course Overview
The Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) course equips learners with the knowledge needed to evaluate and control process risks using established analytical techniques. Early modules introduce the principles of Process Safety Management, laying the groundwork for understanding how PHAs fit within a company’s broader safety framework. From there, participants explore methods including HAZOP, What-If, HAZID, and FMEA, learning how each approach identifies potential hazards and guides risk-reduction decisions.
The course concludes with a hands-on capstone exercise that allows learners to apply their skills in a realistic situation. This practical component reinforces confidence in performing PHAs and supports the development of sound judgment in managing operational hazards.
