Line Locating and Marking
Course Overview
Every community depends on underground utilities to keep homes and businesses running smoothly from electricity and water to internet and energy distribution. But when excavation work begins, these same utilities can become hidden dangers. Accidental strikes can put crews and the public at risk.
This Utility Line Locating and Marking Training provides workers with essential skills to recognize underground infrastructure, follow the 811 one-call system, and apply safe digging techniques to avoid accidents. Through interactive lessons, real-world examples, and safety guidelines, learners build confidence while ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations.
