Part 1 of this two-part course on crane hand signaling covers basic skills and knowledge needed to use hand or voice signals to direct the movements of mobile and tower cranes. Part 2 of this two-part course on using hand signals to direct the movements of mobile and tower cranes demonstrates standard hand signals. In addition, guidelines for using voice signals are provided.

By the end of this course, and understanding will be gained of:

  • Machine capabilities and Overhead power lines
