Cargo Securement Flatbeds
This online course explains the fundamentals of flatbed cargo loading and securement procedures, as well as driver pre-trip and en route responsibilities.
Course Overview
Successful commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers must do all that they can to properly secure cargo on flatbed trailers. Poorly secured cargo can result in damage to cargo or vehicles, delays due to roadside enforcement, and potential accidents that can cause injuries or even loss of life. To avoid problems, flatbed drivers must be able to position and secure cargo properly.
