Course Overview
Boom lifts, often called cherry pickers or man lifts, are widely used on job sites for tasks that require access to elevated areas. Despite their convenience, these machines can be dangerous if handled improperly. Knowing how to inspect, operate, and maintain them safely is essential.
The online Boom Lift Safety Training course equips participants with the essential knowledge to work with mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). You’ll learn about boom lift components, safe start-up and pre-use inspections, hazard recognition, and effective operation methods. The program also emphasizes the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed to keep operators secure when working at height.
This training is designed for new operators as well as experienced workers in need of a refresher. By completing this program, you’ll build confidence and gain practical skills that reduce jobsite risks and promote safer work environments.
