How much training do employees need to use EHS software?
Employees usually need role-based training that shows them exactly how to complete the tasks they are expected to perform in the EHS software. Frontline workers may only need brief instruction on submitting forms, reporting hazards, completing inspections, or uploading photos. Supervisors may need additional training on reviewing submissions, assigning corrective actions, approving forms, and monitoring overdue tasks. Administrators need deeper training on configuration, reporting, permissions, and data management. For U.S. high-risk industries, training should be practical, short, job-specific, and reinforced with supervisor support so employees can use the system confidently in the field.
